Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Charleston, SC Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Charleston, SC Service Setting: Hospital and Pediatric Academic Medical Center Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Minimum 3 Months (Option to Extend) Clinical Shift Schedule: 6:00am 7:30pm or 8:00am 9:30pm (13.5-hour shifts, 0.5-hour unpaid lunch) COVERAGE DATES Start Date: 05/04/2026 Assignment Length: Minimum 3 Months Extension Potential: Yes PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics Patient Volume/Census: 35 Cases per Day Case Mix: General Anesthesia, Neuro and Spine, Orthopedics, Oncology, ENT, GYN, Urology, Pediatric GI, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Dental (No OB, No Hearts, No Burns) FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 21 Operating Rooms (Adult Facility); 8 Operating Suites and 2 Cath Labs (Pediatric Facility) Trauma Level: Level 1 Academic Trauma Centers EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Full operating room capabilities, interventional radiology, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, endoscopy and procedural suites Specialty Backup Available: Full surgical subspecialty support including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, Robotics and Pediatric Subspecialties Support Staff Available: Established CRNA teams and multidisciplinary surgical staff Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 6090 Days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Adult General Anesthesia Management Pediatric General Anesthesia Management Neuro and Spine Cases Orthopedic Procedures ENT, GYN, Urology Cases Pediatric GI, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Dental Cases Interventional Radiology and Non-Operating Room Anesthesia JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active South Carolina License (or well in process) Board: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist DEA: As Required by Facility Certifications: BLS and ACLS Experience: Minimum 3 Years of Anesthesia Experience with at least 1 Year of Pediatric Experience Other Qualifications: Must reside greater than 60 miles from facility; Must be flexible to work adult and pediatric locations; Proficiency with Epic required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide medically directed anesthesia services in adult and pediatric academic trauma centers Deliver anesthesia care across operating rooms and procedural areas Manage 35 cases per day across assigned specialties Collaborate with surgical and multidisciplinary teams Accurately document all encounters within Epic EMR
