Job Description:

HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of patient-centered medical care, is seeking a dedicated RN for our Surgical Services on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is crucial for our on-call team, providing high-quality surgical care in our state-of-the-art facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, ensuring patient safety and adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to being available during various shifts, primarily outside of traditional business hours, to support patient needs. Provide comprehensive nursing care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settings. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the surgical team. Respond promptly to changes in workload or patient conditions, providing immediate care and coordination. Maintain meticulous documentation of all surgical interventions and patient interactions. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards for patient safety and care. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexibly and respond to on-call situations Proficient in using healthcare technology and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
