Experienced Cardiovascular Registered Nurses specializing in Open Heart Surgery are sought for critical roles within a surgical department located in Charleston, SC. This contract opportunity offers specialized hands-on experience in a dynamic operating room environment, focusing on cardiovascular procedures. Position Details: Number of Openings: 3 Shift Options: Two positions: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (10:30 AM 11:00 PM) One position: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 PM 6:30 AM) On-call requirement: One 24-hour weekend call per month (Saturday or Sunday) Responsibilities include assisting with open heart surgeries, preparing the surgical environment, monitoring patient vitals during procedures, collaborating with surgical teams, and ensuring compliance with sterile field protocols. Qualifications: Current RN licensure with relevant state credentials Proven experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and on-call shifts Strong critical thinking and communication skills Charleston, SC, is a vibrant coastal city renowned for its rich history, picturesque landscapes, and warm southern hospitality.
