Geriatrician Section Head – Department of Medicine, MUSC The
Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Geriatric
Section Head to lead our growing program within the Division of
General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics & Palliative Care. This
leader will shape a system-wide strategy for outstanding clinical
care, education, and research for older adults across inpatient,
outpatient, long-term care, and home settings. The ideal candidate
will be a patient-centered, compassionate team player as well as a
leader with a desire to support the growth of the next generation
of healthcare professionals while helping to facilitate the plan
for our aging population of patients here at MUSC. Ideal
Candidates: - BC/BE Internal Medicine or FM Physician with
Geriatric Fellowship training - Eligible for medical licensure in
South Carolina - Demonstrated leadership in academics, teaching, or
research - Collaborative and collegial demeanor with commitment to
high quality patient care - Academic orientation and enthusiasm for
