Submit your application for the opportunity below: Ultrasound Technologist We are seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a weekdays only position. Job Summary and Qualifications You will perform diagnostic procedures on all parts of the body as well as the following most common exams (this list is not all inclusive): Limited OB Pelvic – trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal Head/Neck-thyroid, lymph nodes, carotid Venous- legs and arm Arterials limited- groin or specific Arterial segmental Doppler Invasive procedures – Biopsies, thoracentesis and paracentesis You will complete the patient’s history form, document the technologist exam sheet, take vital signs and check labs as needed, completing consent forms when necessary, and re-stocking exam rooms with required supplies in between patients. What qualifications you will need: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-S) Sonography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Benefits HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
