Job Description:

Trident Health is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Tech to join our committed team at Trident Hospital in South Carolina. This role involves utilizing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to create detailed images of structures inside the human body, which are used for diagnosing medical conditions. The MRI Tech will work closely with radiologists to interpret these images and must uphold the highest standards of patient care and operational protocols. Operate and maintain MRI equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly. Select proper imaging techniques and ensure the quality of images. Work collaboratively with radiologists to review and interpret MRI scans. Adhere to all hospital health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all. Maintain accurate patient records and uphold patient confidentiality. Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout diagnostic procedures. Proficiency in operating MRI equipment Strong anatomical knowledge Ability to interpret physicians' instructions Excellent patient management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a medical team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Valid state license to practice radiologic technology
