Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Beaufort, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,814 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required - Meditech EMR experience required Description: ICU nurse needed for night shifts. Immediate start required. Two years of ICU experience is mandatory. Unit consists of 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Candidates must hold a valid state license. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. No background or licensure hits are acceptable. Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation. This facility has high patient-to-caregiver ratios and requires floating within the hospital. Candidates must be comfortable with floating policies. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as respiratory and pharmacy. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Daily census averages 6.8 patients. Special procedures performed include central line and A-line insertions. Candidates must possess a comprehensive skill set for critical care management. Responsibilities include monitoring ventilated patients and managing complex cases. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with the care team.
