Active South Carolina CRNA license (or in process) and 3 years of CRNA experience required. Join a large, medically directed anesthesia team in historic Charleston (29425). Job Details Location: Charleston, South Carolina (29425) — Charleston healthcare jobs / South Carolina anesthesia jobs Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Per Diem) Start Date: May 4, 2026 End Date: May 5, 2026 (with option to extend) Shift Schedule: 13.5-hour shifts (6:00am – 7:30pm and 8:00am – 9:30pm; some weekends; 0.5 hr unpaid lunch) Practice Model: Medically directed; collaborative CRNA-anesthesiology team Setting: Level I Academic Trauma Center with 21 OR suites and non-OR sites (CT, MRI, Bronch, Neuro-angio, Interventional Radiology) Case Mix: General Anesthesia, Neuro/Spine, Orthopedics, Oncology, ENT, GYN, Urology Cases per Day: 3–5 Hours per Week: Approximately 36 Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $3,780 - $4,410 per week Qualifications / Job Requirements Active South Carolina CRNA license (or license in process) Minimum 3 years of CRNA experience in hospital/OR settings Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records / EPIC EMR Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility (per radius rules) Flexibility to work in both main hospital and outpatient/ambulatory settings Willingness to provide full-time coverage during assignment dates, including some weekends Strong skills in airway management, regional/neuraxial techniques, and perioperative anesthesia care Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality general anesthesia care across a broad surgical case mix (Neuro/Spine, Orthopedics, Oncology, ENT, GYN, Urology) Provide anesthesia services in operating rooms and non-OR locations (interventional radiology, CT, MRI) Collaborate within a large, medically directed CRNA/anesthesiology practice group Rotate between main hospital and outpatient/ambulatory towers to meet clinical needs Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and follow hospital anesthesia protocols Participate in perioperative planning and handoffs to ensure patient safety and continuity of care Why Join This Locum Tenens Opportunity Work in a high-acuity, academic Level I trauma center with diverse anesthesia experience Join a large, experienced CRNA team and collaborate with anesthesiologists in a medically directed model Experience Charleston’s coastal lifestyle, dining, and cultural attractions while taking a locum tenens CRNA assignment Competitive locum tenens compensation and opportunities to extend assignment Experience professional rewards and a varied clinical caseload in Charleston, South Carolina.
