Medical Technology - Installation Supervisor - 100% Nationwide Travel

The installation supervisor is leadership role with management
authority to installation technicians. The supervisor will lead the
hiring process, performance management, oversees work distribution
and administer discipline to employees. The installation supervisor
will effectively communicate with the local sales, project managers
and customers to ensure operational efficiency, effectiveness, and
meet or exceed implementation objectives. The installation
supervisor is expected to develop new hires and take progressive
steps in improving installation quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Other duties may be
Work with Implementation Manager, Project Managers, Sales, Service
Team and /or the Customer to resolve issues and improve
implementation. May be required to backfill installation technician
on an occasional basis. 100% field based and travel to various
projects on a weekly basis.
Direct installation technician supervision
o Manage schedules for work, various shifts, on-call, and vacation.
Monitor installation workload and oversee resource scheduling
o Responsible for new installation technician hiring process
(interview, training, development, etc)
o Coordinate escalated daily work assignments, oversee and engage
in installation activities.
o Ensure technicians properly complete and timely submit
installation records to ensure regulatory compliance
o Participate in team goals and provide measurable results.
o Field audit installations to ensure quality outcomes.
o Audit installation metrics to ensure optimal quality
o Review part shipment trending to support continuous improvement
o Root Cause and countermeasure deployment to Implementation
o Promote a clean and safe work environment, including on-site 5S
o Safety training, meeting and medical testing requirements are
kept up-to-date; ensure that standard work is followed.
o Promote a pro-active approach towards safety, health, and quality
in compliance with all company, governmental and customer
o Track and oversee outsourced rental and labor expenses
o Manage parts spending and inventory to meet installation
o Identifies process improvement opportunities
All other duties assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
o Ability to use computer to perform assignments including
proficient use of required software programs including MS Word, MS
o Strong customer orientation with excellent people skills
o Good written and verbal communications skills
o Effective problem solver
o Proactive mentality with a desire to continuously improve
department and processes
o Detail oriented
o Agile learner with willingness and gain technical product
o Demonstrates a high degree of initiative
o Exhibit excellent time management, verbal and written
o Demonstrates a pro-active approach towards safety, health, and
quality in compliance with all company, governmental and customer
Must meet requirement of installation technician.
o Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
o Able to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
o Stand/walk for extended periods of time
