Job Title: Vascular Tech Profession: Vascular Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 16:30 Hours per Shift: 9 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: ARDMS, RVT preferred Certifications: ARDMS, RVT preferred Must-Have: General and Vascular Ultrasound experience Arterial vascular experience Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The unit has an average of 35 patients daily. Staff consists of all sonographers with ARDMS and RVT. Unit is staffed 24/7 when positions are filled. The type of equipment used includes GE Logic E10. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include: Monday to Thursday from 2 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 2 PM to 8:30 PM with a call rotation on Friday and Saturday nights on a 4-5 week rotation. No floating policy is in place. Patient experience requirements follow the AIDET framework. Procedures performed on the unit include: para, thoras, thyroid biopsies, as well as general and vascular ultrasounds.
