Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI
Technologist with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and at least 2
years of MRI experience for an outpatient setting. Responsibilities
- Position based in an outpatient clinic environment - Primary unit
is MRI with assignments at West Ashley and Mt. Pleasant facilities
as needed - Schedule is primarily 5x8 hour shifts from 11:30 AM to
8:00 PM Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday 8:00 AM to
4:00 PM shifts and corresponding weekday shift adjustments - No
on-call requirements - Use of Epic EMR for charting - Will rotate
between two outpatient locations as needed - Teal top and black
pants required as scrubs - Previous employees must have a one-year
separation from the system to be eligible for travel positions -
All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application
and is subject to approval based on unit needs - Modules are
completed pre-start and typically require about 4 hours - Potential
assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season
(June–November) - Acceptance of local candidates is on a
case-by-case basis and subject to local pay adjustment Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist - Current
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required - Current BLS
certification required (AHA only) - Radiation badge must be
provided by the candidate's agency - First-time travelers are
accepted - SSN and driver’s license required for consideration -
License required if applicable - Must live at least 60 miles from
the facility unless approved as a local candidate Benefits - High
