Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a
Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT (R), SCQRSA, BLS,
and at least one year of IR experience. Responsibilities - Work in
a dedicated interventional radiology department within a Level 1
Trauma teaching hospital - Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour
shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional weeks of 7:00 AM to
7:30 PM - Daily caseload ranges from 5 to 8 cases per technologist
- On-call required: one weeknight every other week, 1-2 weekends
during the contract, and possible holiday call - Procedures include
vascular access, embolization, dialysis work, and PE thrombectomy -
Preferred experience with Y90 implant and chemo embolization - Uses
Epic EMR - Radiation badge must be provided by the agency -
First-time travelers are accepted - Scrubs in navy color provided
by the facility - All time off (RTO) must be requested at time of
application and approval is based on facility needs - Local
candidates considered on a case-by-case basis and may be offered at
a local rate - Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the
facility for travel status eligibility - Previous perm or PRN staff
must be separated from the facility system for at least one year
before applying as a traveler - All staff may be assigned to
emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) -
Parking pass requires a one-time $20 payment for nights and
weekends Requirements - Minimum of 1 year recent IR technologist
experience - Current ARRT (R), SCQRSA, and AHA BLS certifications
required - Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma setting required
- License required if applicable - Ability to provide SSN and
