This position is vital to the growth of the overall organization, ensuring that we are continually focused on hiring and developing multi-talented individuals for the various services we provide to clients.

Requirements

Success in this role is defined as:

  • Providing support to HR Manager and all Regional Managers with hiring needs
  • Ensuring each new hire has a seamless onboarding experience
  • Maintaining accurate and complete employee files
  • Contributing to our company culture and increasing employee engagement while reducing employee turnover
  • Ability to function in highly variable environments as we have employees in 24 states
  • Ability to be self-motivated consistently in a virtual environment
    Recruiting:
    • Contribute to ideal candidate profiles for each position.
    • Fielding candidates for open positions
    • Building candidate pools for each of our regions
    • Having the workforce ready for forecasted client needs
      Onboarding/Offboarding:
      • Ensure that each new hire is onboarded smoothly
      • Maintain logs for communication regarding new hires and turnover
      • Completing background checks for new hires
      • Process Onboarding of all new hires using Paylocity, HubSpot, OpenAir
      • Process Offboarding of all terminated employees and removing access from various systems
      • Assisting in New Hire Orientation with Employee Development Specialist; overview of Benefits

        HR Administration:
        • Assist HR Manager in updating Employee Handbook and Internal Guiding Lights Manual
        • Assist Managers in completing performance objectives at regular intervals including 30, 60, 90 and annually.
        • Ensure documentation is stored in employee records appropriately and in entirety as it relates to performance management.
        • Ensure proper state registration and documentation
        • Assist personnel with questions regarding payroll, benefits, Paylocity, etc.

          Employee Engagement:
          • Assist with leading employee appreciation committee meetings
          • Managing tasks for Quarterly employee appreciation giving and employee events such as birthdays and anniversaries
          • Assisting with coordinating events for Fun Fridays throughout the year including virtual games
          • Monthly report and incentives distribution for Impressions Awards
          • Managing Employee Facebook - Keepers group
          • Coordinate Wellness initiative in conjunction with HR ManagerProfessional/Team Effort:
            • Attend / participate in all required meetings
            • Clock in/out according to policy
            • Find opportunities to prevent loss to Angela Adams Consulting and Angela Adams Consulting Clients
            • Plan, coordinate, and organize work effectively
            • Adhere to Angela Adams Consulting's core values
            • Adhere to Angela Adams Consulting employee guide - maintain confidentiality, limit absenteeism, communicate schedule changes with the manager
            • Update individual performance plan monthly to achieve your own goals and track your own results
            • Complete assignments on time
            • Assist other employees during uneven workload
            • Work as part of the team and cooperate with others

              Requirements

              • 5 years of progressive HR experience required
              • SHRM - PHR Certification preferred but not required
              • Ability to engage others to build trusting relationships with employees and managers throughout the organization
              • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees.
              • Support the development of employees and teams. Assist in identifying programs and tools to improve development areas
              • Strong understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with local, state and federal labor laws
              • Working knowledge of HRIS tools and payroll systems, employment laws, benefits, HR principles
              • Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
              • Must be a self-starter with attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidential information
              • Ability to manage multiple projects, and complete activities accurately and on time
              • This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US.
