Job Description:
Position Summary: The Provider Recruiter shall provide
leadership, direction, and ongoing administration and management
for all aspects of the provider recruitment process and will ensure
policies and procedures are implemented for efficient and effective
management of all recruitment activities. Responsible for planning,
developing and implementing specific strategies to support the
long-range strategic direction for physician recruitment.
Responsible for the identification, screening, and placement of
employed and non-employed providers into the hospital system.
Coordinate employment agreement negotiation as well as any contract
provisions, updates and revisions as requested by the hospital.
Work with hospital attorneys to assure adherence to guidelines,
rules and regulations and in revising and updating recruitment
agreements. Represent the Health System at association meetings and
all physician recruitment functions. Develop recruiting contacts
with employment agencies, placement offices, residency and
fellowship programs.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human
resources, or equivalent. Master's Degree highly preferred.
Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience recruiting Physician and Advanced
Practice Providers to hospital systems
Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment
branding
Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
Working knowledge of Recruitment Management Systems and
databases

Physical Requirements: Light-Medium
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
(activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required
to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and
frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert 15 to 20 pounds
of force occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of
the time), and/or 5 to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or
greater than negligible up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move
objects. The physical demands described here are representative of
those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. Occasional exposure to mechanical,
electrical and chemical hazards.
*Exposures to hazards associated with progressive phases of
construction projects. Often working outdoors exposed to varying
temperatures and environmental conditions. Requires flexibility
with work schedule in order to travel to and monitor multiple job
sites.
