Super-Sod is seeking an experienced HR Professional to join the
growing team in the Charleston, SC area. Bilingual English/Spanish
is a plus! The HR Generalist will assist the HR department and be
responsible for helping with interviewing, administering pay,
benefits, and leave, and enforcing policies and practices.Some of

diverse range of products!Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Human
Resources or equivalent work experience.Experience in payroll
processing through HRIS.Thorough knowledge of employment-related
laws and regulationsAbility to travel for work up to 5% of the
time.SHRM-CP or SHRM Specialty Credential preferred.Experience in
ADP WorkforceNow preferred.Additional coursework/training in Human
Resources, Payroll, Benefits, etc.Knowledge of FLSA and FMCSA
compliance standards.Essential Functions:Reviews, tracks, and
documents all payroll request and updates to ensure timely and
accurate processing.In collaboration with Company Recruiter, assist
with interviews, and facilitates the hiring of applicants.Support
HR Coordinator; identify and recommend updates to current HR
software, systems, and procedures.Performs routine tasks required
to administer and execute human resource programs.Handles
employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and
supervisors.Attends and participates in employee disciplinary
meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance
with federal, state, and local employment laws and
regulations.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices,
regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent
management, and employment law.After first 90 days of
employment:Responsible for weekly payroll processing through ADP
WorkforceNowGenerate and track FMLA documents and leave request.In
collaboration with HR Director, work to build new and updated SOPs,
written policies, and procedural memos.In collaboration with
Recruiting Manager, manage the administration of recruitment
campaigns including advertising vacancies, collecting applications
and data, corresponding with candidates, assisting managers with
the shortlisting and selection processes.Updating ADP to reflect
employee changes, including termination, payroll change, department
change, transfer, etc.Responsible for general administration,
including digital filing of documents including payroll files,
employee documents, tax forms, etc.Providing general HR support
