Job Description Job Description Job Title: Supply Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Supply Coordinator to join the materials management department of a healthcare system located in Charleston, SC. The role involves overseeing the processing, inventory, and delivery of orders to ensure the efficient operation of healthcare services. Responsibilities Supervise the on-site processing, inventory, and delivery of all orders. Maintain effective communication with customers, co-team leaders, stock clerks, and the management team. Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and comprehensive job knowledge. Prepare the schedule for the on-site operations. Attend in-service presentations and complete mandatory education requirements. Demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system and utilize it to report potential patient safety issues. Process all lost charge reports and resolve any discrepancies. Order materials as inventory levels change. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience in supply chain, purchasing, order entry, or ERP software in a fast-paced environment. Management experience with the ability to manage 10-12 supply techs and an hourly workforce. Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with doctors and hospital executives. On-call mentality and flexibility to work late shifts or weekends if necessary. Strong organizational skills and the ability to hold one's own in a demanding environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in a hospital system, is preferred. Experience in supply chain management and logistics. 1-3 years of management experience. Experience with ERP systems. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes an office with a desk located in the back hallway of the hospital. You will also walk around the hospital, attend weekly supply chain leadership meetings, and work in central supply. Official hours are 5am-1:30pm, Monday to Friday, but there may be a need to be on call if short-staffed for nights (1:30pm-8:30pm) or weekends (5am-8:30pm, Saturday to Sunday). The leadership team rotates working nights and weekends, with an expectation to work weekends once a month. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58000.00/yr. State Benefits, Pension Plan, Tuition Reimbursement Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Charleston,SC.
