SAGE is looking for an experienced broadcast production coordinator (or the right personality with a desire to learn!) who can support developing and producing a virtual live event from production start to finish; vision to completion. The perfect candidate is an independent self-starter who loves the challenge of exceeding the client's expectations. We are seeking an individual that is strategic in critical thinking, has high energy, possesses a positive attitude, and is looking for a career with unlimited growth potential. Reliability and personal integrity are important to this position. You should be detail and action-oriented, extremely well organized, and have the ability to multitask complex projects and tasks. Strong computer skills covering all Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications are a must - especially spreadsheets with large amounts of complex data and information. You possess superior verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills. At SAGE, we are the premier virtual events company in the industry. We have produced over 82+ events in 2020 and 2021, for over 550,000 attendees. Strong familiarity with Zoom and broadcast production audiovisual is ideal, but not required. The Broadcast Production Coordinator is a team player who will lead the oversight of all aspects of strategy, planning, and execution for the internal and external live virtual meetings and events which are assigned to them. You will be working very closely with our existing Event Team; Virtual Studio/AV Team and Clients. -- - - Excellent written (email) and verbal (phone) communication skills. -- - - Well-honed time-management skills, as you will need to be self-directed and willing to go above and beyond in your work on a daily basis. -- - - High emotional intelligence. You love and care for people.-- - -- - - No-excuses determination. You love setting goals for yourself and do your absolute best to achieve them. -- - - Exceptional problem-solving abilities. You are strategic and take the initiative to identify potential obstacles that will inevitably come up and you proactively create solutions. -- - - Your existing experience with technology is a BIG plus. Currently, we work very actively with Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Slack, etc. -- - - Flexibility. Sometimes this work is fast-paced with strategy changing on the fly. We love systems and abide by them, but sometimes systems must change. Your ability to quickly and gracefully adjust to change will support your success and positive team dynamics. These are some of the responsibilities we are looking for in the optimal candidates for this position: -- - - Possibility of travels to client events up to 5 times/year -- - - Complex Budgets -- - - Complex Production and Logistics Schedules -- - - Client Hand Holding -- - - Entertainment/DMC -- - - Speaker Selection/Keynote (PPT) -- - - Complex Fulfillment -- - - Calls/Team and Client Meetings -- - - Oversees Development and Implementation of Client Events -- - - Ensures On Time, On Budget Delivery of Projects and Services -- - - Oversees Unique Process Model for Service Delivery -- - - Tracks Call Schedule -- - - Oversees Master Production Schedule -- - - Determines Temp Scheduling -- - - Recruits Independent Contractors -- - - Execute StrategyAssigns Team of 3+ -- - - Oversees Event Team These are some of the qualifications we are looking for in the optimal candidates for this position: -- - - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate in writing and verbally -- - - Must have strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and provide follow through on each -- - - Ability to learn quickly and integrate strong broadcast production coordination and planning with the company approach and brand guidelines -- - - Possess strong creative instincts and sound business judgment -- - - Virtual Event protocol knowledge a plus -- - - Comfortable leading broadcast production events through development, execution, and analysis -- - - Solid understanding of project management tools and the ability to lead and participate within the cross-functional project team(s) to deliver integrated solutions to the client's needs -- - - 3+ years experience in a professional, client facing role -- - - Capable of working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment while maintaining highly detailed and quality work -- - - Organization. You may not be perfectly neat, but you utilize reliable systems to keep your tasks and responsibilities well tended -- - - Want to have fun and be joyful in your work! -- - - A positive, can-do, no-excuses attitude -- - - Strong team player, but able to manage yourself independently -- - - Strong work ethic and self-discipline, without giving in to distractions throughout the day -- - - The ability to stay calm, focused, and positive under pressure PLEASE NOTE: All applicants must submit a video cover letter.
