As an ETL Developer you will be part of a team developing data solutions to meet business and enterprise requirements using SQL and ETL Tools to enhance supporting their mission and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Will support teams in performing data analysis between source and target databases
• Will need to develop a strong understanding of the database running in the AWS cloud, specifically RedShift, SQL Server and MySQL databases
• Will support data analysis and data mapping activities
• Supports in the documentation and establishment of data dictionaries
• Attend client meetings and capture requirements as they relate to data migrations and transformation needs.
• Experience on validating data post migration
• Expand SQL skills and awareness / experience of good coding practices and ability to articulate such.
• Develop Data Warehouse / Data Mart / Data Modeling / Business Intelligence concepts.
• Supports the maintenance and optimization of existing ETL processes leveraging enterprise ETL tools. Other Duties

  Education/Experience
  
  A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science with a minimum 6 years of experience
  
  OR
  
  A minimum of minimum 10 years of professional experience
  
  Certifications
  
  Must be able to obtain one of the following within 90-180 days of hire:
  • SQL based certifications
  • Enterprise ELT Tools certifications
  • Cloud certification (AWS) Competencies & Work Styles:
    • Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting skills, organization & planning skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Travel Requirements:
      • No planned travel requirements however, client may direct for in-person team meetings so that may result in paid travel. Physical Demands
