EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,809 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CVT / EP TECH Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required. First-timers accepted with relevant prior experience. License: SC license preferred. Candidates with a pending license may be considered if proof of application is provided. Certifications: Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. National certifications like ARDMS or CCI are preferred. Description: This position is for a CVT / EP Tech working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday. The work schedule is from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Types of cases required include diagnostic catheterizations for adults, pacemaker insertions (both temporary and permanent), pulmonary artery insertions, right heart catheterizations, conduction studies, and programming of AICDs. No on-call or weekend work is required. Candidates may float to similar units if necessary. All RTO must be submitted upon application, and approval will depend on facility needs. Guaranteed hours include the possibility of being called off for 1 shift every 2 weeks. Radiation badges must be provided by the agency, as they are not supplied by the facility. Travelers must be prepared to assist in emergency response during hurricane season. Modules are non-billable and are included in non-billable orientation hours. Familiarity with patient charting systems is a plus, ideally with experience in Epic. This position requires a strong skill set in diagnostic catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, and interpretation of dysrhythmias, among other procedures. Maintaining a sterile field, adhering to isolation precautions, and using proper PPE are crucial responsibilities of this role. Candidates should have experience with equipment setup, EKG lead placement, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
