Job Description:
A company is looking for a Privacy and Data Protection
Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a company-wide legal data privacy subject matter expert
and advise on strategy and legal compliance
Coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel on data privacy
issues and technology initiatives
Develop and implement data privacy policies, compliance processes,
and procedures
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of legal experience in data privacy and information
security
Expert knowledge of global privacy standards and regimes
Experience leading privacy and information security investigations
and responding to regulatory inquiries
Experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced
environment
Juris Doctor degree and admission to a State Bar
