We hold long-term, fixed contracts with Class I Railroads, specializing in fueling and servicing locomotives using state-of-the-art equipment. Our dedicated fleet operates 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring you can count on stable employment and consistent pay! Position Highlights: Compensation: Annual Salary: $93,400 Annual Bonus Pay Frequency: Paid weekly. Schedule: Day shift from 6 AM to 6 PM Workdays: Monday to Friday Rest Days: Saturday and Sunday Home Time: Home daily Requirements: CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Prior experience with hydraulic-driven systems, pumps, and hoses is a plus. Site Leaders are responsible for: · Production Tasks: Loading, transporting, and transferring red-dyed diesel into locomotives on an on-call basis for the railroad. · Recruitment: Assist the Regional Manager with hiring, training, and managing site drivers. · Onboarding: Ensuring new hires are properly oriented and trained. · Training and Development: Providing ongoing training to help drivers improve their skills. · Performance Management: Monitoring and reviewing driver performance. · Driver Relations: Building positive relationships and addressing any concerns. · Daily Operations: Ensuring smooth daily operations and guiding tasks to successful completion within specified timeframes and budget goals. · Customer Interaction: Collaborating with customers to understand their requirements, providing timely progress updates, and serving as the subject matter expert. · Safety Promotion: Champion safety values and Zero Occurrences, attend relevant meetings, perform safety inspections to ensure staff follow operational procedures and regulations to prevent hazards and delays, involve others in safety observations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain complete Driver qualification files. · Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and proper functioning of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. · Scheduling: Ensuring all shifts are covered and managing the scheduling of drivers. · Availability: Must be available by phone for operations at any hour of the day and, in case of an emergency, be able to respond to the worksite as needed. Requirements & Qualifications: CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred. Strong reliability, independence, and critical thinking skills. Basic computer skills are required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb frequently. Capable of walking long distances on varied terrain. Ability to climb ladders or truck cabs multiple times per shift. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Willingness to handle hazardous liquid and dry bulk materials. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
