The purpose of this position is to participate in creating and
preparing hot food and cold food as well as accompaniments, and
garnishes, as directed by the Executive Chef or the manager in
charge. These line cooks shall be able to work alone with minimal
supervision and are to ensure that food is prepared in accordance
with current applicable federal, state, and local standards and
regulations as well as the quality of preparation and service
guidelines as set forth by the Dining Services Department and
Bishop Gadsden Community.
Regularly handle and prepare food in a safe and sanitary

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Completed high school education or equivalent
Prefer a minimum of 5 or greater years professional experience
as line cook and/or entry level supervisor experience,
Associates degree in culinary industry preferred.
