We also provide analytics that combine clinical knowledge with big data technology and techniques to transform petabytes of data into meaningful solutions for our customers.ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be part of a larger team providing iterative Defensive Cyberspace Operations capabilities in support of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP). CSSP support encompasses Incident Response, Incident Coordination, Cyber Hunt, Digital Forensics, Insider Threat, Continuous Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Tool Development, Plans/Programs/Readiness, CSSP Architecture Group, Infrastructure Support, Communications Security (COMSEC), Cooperative Purple Team, Red Team, and Innovation & Collaboration. The following provides an overview of the specific job requirements:Provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Working as expert, conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. Verifies/validates systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.QualificationsEducation: Technical Training in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Network Design or Information Technology.Certifications: Must have security certifications that are compliant with 8570 Categories of CND Auditor, CND Analyst, CNDSP Manager, CND Incident Responder, CNDInfrastructure Support, IASAE I or IASAE II.Experience: Eight (8) years of experience supporting network operations centers, Cyber Security Service Providers or Cyber Red Teams orequivalents within the DoD or Federal government, to include three (3) of the following six (6) areas: Vulnerability Analysis, Network SecurityMonitoring, Incident Response/Forensics, Penetration Test/Red Teaming, Network design and implementation or software development.Requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance.About PerspectaWhat matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
