We are seeking a communications enthusiast, with 2-4 years of experience, who is passionate about writing, editing, and creating, to join our Human Resources Department. This position is located in North Charleston, SC and remote work is not available.Primary Role: The primary role of the Corporate Communications Coordinator is to assist in promoting Atlas Technologies, Inc. by executing a variety of communications-related projects. You will write articles, blogs, generate presentations, produce a variety of marketing materials and manage all social media platforms.How you drive value: Your exceptional communications efforts will result in attracting great talent and increased internal/ external awareness of company initiatives.You Will: Draft internal corporate communications announcementsAs directed, support and coordinate with other departments to research, write articles and formulate marketing content in support of company efforts for Government contract customersResearch and apply for industry awards as well as speaking engagements when appropriate for team membersProvide support to team members planning and supporting company sponsored eventsProvide internal communications support and content creation for intranet and email distributionSummarize and distribute changes in policies, procedures, etc. across the enterprise as directed by the senior leadership teamSubmit internal and external press releases and write-ups for new hires in each locationEstablishing and maintaining social media and internal communications plans and campaigns under direction of the Director of Human ResourcesAssist in any Human Resources related administrative duties as neededYou Have: Exceptional writing, proof reading, and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailThe ability to manage multiple, concurrent projectsThe ability to adapt and be flexible if/when plans must be revisedThe ability to work independently and self-directed, yet also team-oriented and collaborativeA proactive approach to work and problem-solvingProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAn undergraduate Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related fieldExperience in brand engagement in various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and InstagramAtlas is a fast-growing information technology services company servicing a range of DoD customers.
