If these qualities describe you, we'd love for you to join Ingevity!How you will impact Ingevity:As the Senior Analyst, Master Data Management and Data Tool Administrator, you will provide Master Data Management (MDM) solution ownership and leadership to Ingevity combining people, processes and technology, specializing in the strategic design, implementation and maintenance of MDM software, specifically Riversand Master Data and business processes. You will also be responsible for the ownership, licensing and management of other data related tools, such as Winshuttle, Prometheus, SAP BODS, SAP Information Steward.Reporting to the Director, Data Strategy and Governance, you will have direct management responsibility for a small team of Data Analysts. - You will also be responsible for coordination and tracking of the company's efforts to efficiently resolve issues with Master data within the various data sources and Riversand MDM software. You will drive the creation and execution of MDM processes, process improvements, and compliance of processes and data integrity in line with the Data Governance strategy, while working closely with business users and external vendors.Responsibilities:Maintain the integrity, security and performance of Ingevity's MDM platformDevelop and deliver data quality metrics, reporting and dashboards, as specified in the design, functional and non-functional requirements set forth by the businessManage service requests for master data, engaging departments as needed to research, provide solutions, and ultimately resolve the service requestProposes productivity and process improvement / innovation relating to master data issues -Provide insight and guidance for day to day operations covering issue prioritization, defect management, and break fixes to ensure high reliability and availability of the MDM systemEstablish level of service standards and operating procedures Master Data teamSupport, through master data management efforts, the roll out of an enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on the improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior, policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processesDesign, implement and manage Master Data Management tools and processes, including MDM enhancements and upgradesResponsible for ensuring consistent, accurate, complete, accessible and timely dataAct as an agent of change to help drive data best practices and evangelize the concept of "data as an asset"Implement master data quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, processes, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirementsManage a team of Data Analysts and third-party suppliers/contractorsThis position will be based in Ingevity's headquarters in North Charleston, SCWhat you need to succeed:Degree in IT / Computer Science, Engineering or business/related field or 2+ years of working with Master Data Management in a technical role required. A substantial portion of experience with Riversand MDM Solution preferred.Working knowledge and experience of data governance & data management as operating models (organization and business process perspective) required.Demonstrable understanding of Material, Vendor and Customer data, 3rd party data and integration with downstream systems required.Experience managing internal staff and outsourced third-party vendors and the ability to establish and lead across internal, external and offshore functional teams in a matrix organization structure.Excellent communication skills to support collaboration with the business units in delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.Strong personal commitment to continuous business improvement.Experience with SAP products and solutions in a SAP for Chemicals/Manufacturing environment preferredMust be willing to travel up to 25%. - Travel should be minimal, but projects could necessitate short-term, intense travel.This position is eligible for relocation assistance.This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. - The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US.Ingevity is a company made up of extraordinary people of every race, religion and background, all worthy of the same dignity.
