• Holiday and Referral BONUSES!WHAT A PET SITTER DOES:As a pet sitter, you will travel to the homes of our clients to provide care for dogs, cats, and occasionally some other household animals. The pets you'll be caring for will need to have potty breaks, walks, food, fresh water, medications, clean living areas, and lots of love and attention. We spend our days outside walking energetic dogs (both big and small) for 15 to 60 minutes, so you need to be ok getting a little sweaty, dirty and hairy, and not be opposed to picking up poop, scooping litter boxes, and cleaning up any pet messes. This may not be a clean job, but you'll be rewarded with lots of dog kisses and cat snuggles!After every visit, we send a visit journal and photos to the pet parents so they can see how much fun their pet had with us.We take professional dog walking and pet care seriously and always work to be the best professional pet care team in Charleston. It's a serious job, but is also the perfect way to get paid to exercise and play with dogs and cats! Many of our staff say it's the best job they've ever had!JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Available to work at least 3 weekends a month between 7 am - 9 pm (with lots of breaks between visits). More hours are available, if interested!
  • Live in our service area (James Island, downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, Johns Island, and Avondale)
  • US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Have your own reliable motor vehicle and valid Driver's License
  • Have a cell phone with internet access
  • Willing to take a Pet Emergency Care certification class
  • Able to commit to this position for at least 6 months from date of hireSKILLS & QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED
