Primary Function
Manage all daily on-site activities associated with the project or areas assigned. The Foreman is the front-line manager for the team and directs the crew and activities daily. This position reports to a General Superintendent daily for progress updates, planning, coordination, and scheduling. Responsibilities

Implements the overall construction plan and sequencing for the project in conjunction with the project management team.
Reads and interprets plans and specifications from the Architect/Engineer and can communicate these down to others.
Oversees all aspects of construction to ensure compliance with the scope, quality, and local codes as established by the contract documents.
Meets or exceeds project schedules within changing conditions.
Applies Quality Control Practices as delivered by the team.
Is involved with inspections and audits of construction project activities and processes.
Directs Gulf Stream Environmental personnel in day-to-day activities of work.
Manages tools and equipment utilization for the project to ensure our assets are used efficiently and accounted for.
Leads weekly safety meetings when in the absence or in lieu of a formal site meeting.
Mentors Assistant Foremen and others assigned to the project.
Produces accurate Project Daily reports for areas assigned.
Ability to forecast labor and material needs for the project with the Management Team.
Promotes and maintains positive relationships with the Owner/Architect/Engineer
Proactively anticipates and solves problems that could delay construction.
Identifies, nurtures, and solicits future business opportunities for Gulf Stream Environmental.
Implements and adheres to Gulf Stream Environmental Safety Program, OSHA guidelines, and Company policies, procedures, and standards.
Promotes integrity, honesty, hard work, safety, and quality throughout all aspects of the project and is a professional representative of Gulf Stream Environmental.
Performs additional assignments as directed by management or as required for successful project completion.
Possess a high degree of flexibility and the willingness to travel to job sites outside of our current location


In-state and out-of-state travel will be required.

Minimum of three to five years experience required

Required Certification/Training minimum:


Completed OSHA 30 Hour Course for Construction
Current First Aid Certification
Completed CEPSCI Certification




Required Skills/Abilities:


HDPE liner welding experience preferred
Familiar with computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Ability to communicate with customers and management
Understands navigation and use of time and date entry software or similar software
Demonstrates excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to lead a team and/or teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective leadership abilities, vision, and a strong desire to be the best
