If these qualities describe you, we'd love for you to join Ingevity!As the lead for Commercialization and Quality Management System, this position will interface with Development teams, Plant teams, Regulatory groups, and Supply Chain partners to drive the commercialization process for Performance Materials. This role will have a significant global reach through the Quality Management System and Commercialization process as well as serving as an SAP subject matter expert for the Performance Materials team. This role will drive process improvements, coordinate and maintain the production SKUs and support system needs throughout the business.Here's how you will impact Ingevity:Manage and improve the raw material and product SKU request and approval process as related to product changes, new product launches, and supply location changes with Performance MaterialsInterface with cross functional teams including plants, development, supply chain, and SAP experts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the SAP setup for product release and customer orders processImplement and manage SAP quality holds and other quality functions in SAPConsistently setup SAP raw materials and product SKU quality features as well as customer setupsDrive effectiveness of the Quality Management System across Performance Materials headquarters business functionsManage internal and external Quality Management System audits for the Headquarters location and provide support for plant auditsSupport the management of change (MOC) process with close collaboration with customers, and internal stake holdersPerform other duties as deemed necessary by management to support various quality and continuous improvement initiativesHere is what you'll need to succeed in this role:B.S degree. Engineering or Business preferred. Other degrees will be considered with relevant professional experienceMinimum 5 years professional experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with SAP or equivalent software packageExperience with the creation or implementation of global proceduresProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsPrior experience as an internal auditor preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environmentAbility to travel - domestic and international- as needed to support business requirementsTravel requirement: 5-10%This position is eligible for relocation assistance.This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
