Job DescriptionSalary: Please note that while this is a remote position, the selected candidate must live in – or be willing to relocate to – Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Oklahoma.Is this job for you?We are seeking a customer-focused, strategic Engagement Partner with strong technical abilities to lead process optimization and automation consulting services for our customers. The ideal candidate has prior work history as a Senior Business Analyst (or similar) and four or more years in project and/or program management. Experience managing small to mid-sized teams and customer-facing projects is crucial.In this role, you will be responsible for deepening and expanding our customer engagements, while managing customer accounts and business transformation strategy. Successfully delivering on client needs as the process optimization and automation expert will be of the utmost importance. About the position…This customer-facing role engages directly with clients to deliver process optimization and automation consulting and implementation services. In addition to leading delivery for and communication with clients, the Engagement Partner manages other employees involved in service delivery.Specific responsibilities include:

  • Partnering directly with our customers to understand their business, strategic goals, and current situation fully and holistically.
  • Developing business transformation strategies and roadmaps tailored to each customer's needs.
  • Managing all aspects of several customer accounts, including relationship management, delivery, and account management.
  • Providing strategic as well as day-to-day leadership and management of a team of employees to solve customers' needs in the form of process discovery, analysis, optimization, automation, risk management, change management, and maintenance.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on process optimization and automation as well as other capabilities.
  • Seeking to deepen and expand customer engagements.
  • Supporting Sales and Marketing efforts, including participating in sales meetings, and providing initial recommendations to prospects.To be successful in this role, we anticipate the right candidate will possess the following attributes and capabilities:
    • Experience in a professional services or consulting environment
    • Expertise in analyzing, optimizing, re-engineering, and/or automating processes
    • Experience in Lean, Theory of Constraints, and/or Business Process Management
    • Exceptional at managing customer-facing projects and being the primary point of contact for the customer
    • Track record of successful project or program management
    • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing 4+ direct reports
    • Self-directed; comfortable developing departmental or organization-wide strategy and leading its execution
