The Annual Giving Officer will manage vital fundraising functions that are crucial to the success of Lowcountry Food Bank. A key role performed by this staff person is the effective management of the food bank's direct mail program, corporate and individual relationships, email campaigns and peer-to-peer fundraising programs. Program elements include outreach and engagement of corporations, community groups, schools, and individuals; annual giving content development (themes and timelines), external marketing and communications, maintenance of event platform and customer experience on our website, analysis, and reporting of online campaigns. Plans and implements corporate engagement strategies and manages assigned relationships through a process of stewardship, cultivation, relationship building and presentation of corporate and individual partnership opportunities. The Annual Giving Officer is responsible for establishing and meeting an annual revenue target by working with an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects to advance the mission of the organization. This person will have a portfolio of 75-100 individual and corporate partners.

The successful candidate must possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Three to five years-experience in fundraising, marketing and/or project management, as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
