Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced
Customer Engineer to join Customer Engineering team located in
North Charleston, SC.Position Responsibilities:Frequently interact
with Boeing Sales, Marketing, Contracts and airplane program
leadershipDeveloping a close working relationship with the Customer
Engineering Account ManagerReceive and reply to Customer
CorrespondenceCoordinate with Customer to understand the technical
issues and concerns representing The Boeing
CompanyElevate/Coordinate with Program Engineering groups as
requiredAct as a point of contact for daily verbal Customer input
and as a representative of the airline to the various Boeing
organizationsGather delivery support data, e.g. PRR difference
list, etcAuthoring Miscellaneous Contracts Commitments (MCC) and
Modification Revisions (MR) as neededCoordinate with Feature
Management, Platform Team, and Certification office on Boeing
participation in resolution of Certification issuesProvide
coordination with CQS on delivery condition items and unresolved
Customer ItemsPerform the coordination with CQS, Platforms and PMO
to develop delivery commitmentsCreate the draft Delivery Exception
and Commitment letterCommunicate commitments to PlatformsAttend all
customer meetings related to delivery milestones at BSC; i.e.:
Factory Status, Field Status, etcMay require working off-hours,
weekends and/or holidays to support airplane delivery
milestonesCoordinate with diverse technical and business
organizations within BoeingThis position is expected to be 100%
onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at
one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export
Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined
by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen,
lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of
Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry5 or more years
of related work experienceMust be able to travel both domestically
and internationally (Occasional travel (10%) may be required in
support of the program and customer)Strong communication skills,
with experience working directly with executive
decision-makersPreferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): Customer or Supplier facing experience5 or more
years of engineering experience in Boeing Commercial
AirplanesTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and
typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8
years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience,
etc.).Relocation: This position offers relocation based on
