Job Description:
Job Description We are looking for a dedicated onboarding system
support specialist to join our firm. The responsibilities of the
specialist include setting up new hardware and software for new
employees prior to their start date, and troubleshooting technical
issues for existing employees. System support specialists provide
help desk assistance and technical support for all types of issues
affecting end users, such as software problems and hardware
failures. They create and maintain user accounts. This critical
operational position provides support for Mac Minis and MacBook Pro
laptops, and other additional hardware/software as assigned. This
position assists with preventative maintenance of all IT equipment
and facilities. Specialists should have solid analytical and
problem-solving skills. They should be able to work calmly under
pressure and be able to handle multiple tasks. DIRECT EXPERIENCE
Education: IT degree preferred but not required. Requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
- We are an all-Mac firm, so if you do not like Macs or do not
understand Macs, you should not apply for this job.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in Information Technology
support.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Excellent team player.
- An ability to learn quickly and support changing
technologies
- Must have strong logic skills and be able to solve problems
quickly.
- Must have experience with hardware/software troubleshooting,
use of Mac computers, Google products (gmail, sheets, docs, etc.)
Microsoft Office 365.
- Must be able to communicate effectively within the IT
department as well as with end users.
- Must have strong organizational skills. LEADERSHIP
