Job Description:
Morey Group, a division of The Lukens Company, is a national
market research and consulting firm that is seeking an Account
Executive to join our team in our Charleston, SC office. Our
clients range from zoos and aquariums to museums and cultural
attractions, each of which uses our research to make informed
decisions. The Account Executive will play a key role within our
team, overseeing the visitor survey work for Morey Group and
carrying out the day-to-day management of the visitor survey
program and other market research studies for assigned clients.
Responsibilities include survey design/programming, data
collection, reporting, and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the Visitor Survey Program (strategy, production,
and new/existing business)
- Serving as day-to-day contact for assigned clients
- Designing surveys and assisting clients with necessary survey
changes
- Overseeing and scheduling in-person interviewing
- Managing kiosk vendors
- Preparing Visitor Survey Reports and completing the key results
and analysis
- Proofing final reports
- Managing and reviewing Annual Visitor Survey Benchmark
Averages
- Providing office administrative support related to logistics,
billing, and office supplies
- Other job duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working in market research with data
and reporting focus
- 1-2 years of experience in project management and/or client
services, data collection and data manipulation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong data analytics background and ability to interpret
data
- Strong quantitative skills, including a high level of fluency
with Microsoft Excel. SPSS / Qualtrix / Snap Surveys experience a
plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word,
Outlook)
- Strong communication, analytical and writing abilities
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling several
projects at a time while meeting deadlines

- Willingness to learn and develop a solid understanding both of
market research as it relates to cultural, educational,
not-for-profit, and political organizations and of Morey Group
processes in client service, survey design, data collection, data
manipulation, reporting procedures and results analysis

priorities; proven leadership abilities, accountability, and
initiative
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the
day
- Must stand, walk, sit, climb, use hands-to-fingers, handle
tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, and occasionally lift
and/or move objects up to 25lbs
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity
machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
- This position needs to occasionally move about inside the
office
- The person in this position frequently communicates via
telephone
