• Design and plan cloud solution architectures to deliver robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive business objectives
• Manage technical/engineering support for design, review, configuration, implementation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting for DoN network solutions, data centers, off-premise cloud, and/or stand-alone environments
• Partner with IT leaders, subject matter experts, and other architects to design, document and evolve technology solutions for implementation into the hybrid cloud operational environment.
• Recommend, and implement new technologies intended to improving capability to meet mission within the ITIL framework (Continuous Service Improvement), at Government direction.
• Leverage knowledge of public cloud services to ensure solutions are designed to leverage the scalability, availability, DR and cost optimization capabilities of the cloud while maintaining compatibility with on-premise services and components.
• Lead requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, system design, systems integration and test (verification), validation of system elements
• Research technology solutions and products, identifying new opportunities and recommending emerging solutions or technologies to address existing or emerging challenges and risks. You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field from an accredited college or university
  • Ten (10) years of experience supporting a DoD customer with virtualization and sustainment in Windows and Linux environments, significant experience designing a variety of solutions within AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
  • Experience with Hybrid cloud, mixed on premise Azure, Vcloud foundation, horizon view, VDI
  • Expertise installing, configuring, and maintaining technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) within an environment governed by DoD policy.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to Effectively lead complex assignments; interacting with both customers and end-users
  • Experience with GovCloud regions of Azure and/or AWS
  • Collaborative attitude and mindset, with proven ability to work well within teams
  • Proficient in all MS Office Suite tools
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent) or Level 3 (CASP, CISSP, or equivalent) certification
  • Minimum required CompTIA Security+ plus
  • Azure and or AWS architect certifications
  • VCP Certification
  • Expereince with specific technologies - vSphere 7.x, Netapp SAN, Commvault, Cisco UCS Manager. What is Atlas, you ask?
