Overview: Employee Engagement Specialist Savannah, GA or Dublin,
OH The Employee Engagement Specialist is primarily responsible for
spearheading the Celebrations Program to enhance the Team Member
experience by delivering exceptional customer service and managing
birthdays, anniversaries, and other recognition initiatives to
positively impact our workforce. You will help drive employee
engagement by ensuring employees who meet specific milestones get
recognized and rewarded accordingly. Your strong program planning
skills and your keen eye for details in maintaining accurate
records will allow you to serve (and surprise) our diverse team
while you're developing your cross-functional skills in Human
Resources. Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality customer service as the Celebration
Program Owner and serve as the point of contact to recognize
initiatives such as birthday and anniversary celebrations across
the Company while also monitoring and managing the dedicated email
inbox.
- Confirm accuracy of and manage a daily, weekly, and monthly
spreadsheet of team member's birthdays and work anniversaries
sourced from system reports.
- Utilizing the birthday and anniversary spreadsheet, schedule
emails accordingly to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries for
company employees.
- Ensure on-time delivery of milestone anniversary certificates
each month to recognize 10/20/30 years of service for team
members.
- Coordinate internal communications to reference on the internal
Hub and Dashboard.
- Support engagement programs while collaborating with
appropriate internal stakeholders across the organization to
maximize engagement policies and procedures.
- Oversight of inventory items and partner with the Sr. Director
regarding any re-orders needed.
- Compile monthly working files to prepare for distribution to
the vendor for shipment of any items needed.
- Help to support initiatives around other programs along with
Celebrations such as New Hire Experience, Culture Champions,
Diversity/Inclusion/Belonging, Feedback Badges and Employee
Engagement Surveys.
- Issue recognition badges through internal platform to recognize
and celebrate employees.
- Assist with any other assigned projects as needed.
- This is a full-time role that requires in-person attendance
during normal business hours. Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in program planning and/or in a
relevant Human Resources function.
- Must be extremely organized, efficient yet thorough, and
strongly detail-oriented.
- Must take initiative and excel at time management to
successfully accomplish and prioritize a high volume of overlapping
tasks at any given time without constant supervision.
- Ability to be an independent thinker, have a creative mind, and
be results-driven.
- Be proactive in taking ownership of assigned projects from
start to finish.
- High proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Excel,
including V-Look up and Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, and Microsoft
Word.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal
