The technicians use these devices to administer tests called electroencephalograms (EEGs), which may then detect brain disorders or damage. monitors the patient's status and notes any abnormalities. After testing is complete, they report their findings to the patient's doctor for further analysis. This position includes a $2,500 sign on bonus for night shift and $1,000 sign on bonus for day shift.Additional Job DescriptionMinimum Training and Education: Requires either an associate or bachelors degree or an active student in good standing in a CAAHEP accredited EEG program. Must obtain EEG certification within 2 years of employment. Certification in Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS), either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
