  • Position/Specialty: CT Tech
  • Shift: Will work 4x10s, 9a-730p Tuesday-Friday. Holidays if they fall on the scheduled shift.
  • Is on-call REQ? No
  • Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Floating between Main, ART, SJCH may be required
  • Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
    • Job Requirements
    • Years of experience REQ: 1 year (preferably) or 6 months level 1 trauma
    • Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT)
    • Experience REQ: Siemens Experience and Trauma 1 Experience
    • Experience REQ: paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, drainage
    • Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
    • Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
    • Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start
    • RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs.
