Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking an ElectronicsTechnician to join our growing team in Charleston, SC.In this role you will performproduction assembly operations on cables, and sub-assemblies. Uses wiringlists, schematics, blueprints, and verbal and written instructions to route,tag, test and terminate shipboard cables. General requirements:Must have aSECRET CLEARANCEFamiliar with Shipyard and NAVSEAinstallation requirements and supporting documentation.Must be able to pass backgroundcheck for access to Shipyards and/or Naval BasesAbilityto work from blueprints, drawings, technical manuals, handbooks and othertechnical documentation.Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.Install cables in shipboardcableways using approved methods. This requires the ability to climb ladders,physically pull the cable and knowledge of proper installation methods.Education: Technical Training Experience: 3-8 years of related Cable installation experience. Must beable to work aboard a ship and in a shipyard environment.1-3 years of related Cable installation experience.
