Job Description:

Mid-sized manufacturing company is seeking to fill a maintenance electrician position at its plant in the Huger, SC area. Employee is responsible for installing and maintaining electrical machines, equipment and power systems adhering to state and local building codes and the National Electrical Code. Employee may perform inside/outside routine maintenance or extensive preventative maintenance for the building, grounds, machines and equipment that includes setup and adjustments for production runs and repair work for machine breakdowns. A certified journeyman is preferred.
The right person possesses: 3 or more years of industrial electrical experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, hydraulic systems, basic welding and fabrication PLC Troubleshooting Planning/detail-oriented organizational skills to prioritize work activities and use time efficiently to ensure accurate work completion within required time frame Ability to work independently adhering to established internal control procedures with minimal supervision Dependability to be consistently at work and on time
A team mentality with the ability work with wide range of people
Near vision and light/medium (5-20 lbs/2.25-9 kg) lifting capability
