Maintenance Technician
Reports to: - Maintenance Facilities Leader
Location: - Ladson, SC
Job ID: -14018

Responsibilities: Retains a safe workplace, wearing protective -clothing, using safety equipment, following safe working procedures, reporting unsafe or unhealthy situations.
Maintains a clean work environment in immediate work -area as well as general facility.
Ensure tasks are performed within Environmental Management System guidelines and standards.
Assist Teammates with tasks,
Participates as a member of teams and attends a variety of meetings to share information, solve problems -and cooperate with as a team member.
Complies with company policies and procedures.
Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
Promotes the principles of Venture Aerobearings and maintains continuous improvement plans.
Performs diagnostics and repairs on all plant equipment, including but not limited to Vertical and Horizontal CNC machining centers, Manual machining centers.
Provides assistance to identify areas for -improvements.
Responsible for Preventative and Predictive Maintenance.
Communicates with departments and employees to exchange information and resolve issues.
Ensures the maintenance of quality standards, monitoring the observance of policies and procedures.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and repairs as needed
Monitor daily operation and maintenance of environmental control systems.
Inspection of equipment and processes to determine efficiency of operations, maintenance requirements, and cleanliness.
Desired if applicant has waste water background (not required).
Oversee periodic sampling as required.
Monitor wastewater to assure quality standards and proper chemical balance.
Preparation of technical calculations and reports to regulatory agencies (this is crucial as EHS Leader is a single point of failure)
Ensures required documents are properly maintained
Troubleshooting technical, mechanical, and chemical problems.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of CNC, equipment, and systems.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs such as MS Office.
High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred .
Level C wastewater treatment license -is a plus.
Experience in welding, gearbox rebuilding and fabrication.

Desired Skills: Training from industrial control manufacturers such as Fanuc, Siemens Allen Bradley etc.
Excellent organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Highly motivated.
Team oriented.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Willingness to help others
