**Job Summary/Purpose** : The Inventory Control Specialist reports
to Warehouse Coordinator. Under indirect supervision, the Inventory
Control Specialist performs physical inventory procedures and
participates in the asset management process to include equipment
tagging, asset tracking, record maintenance, asset database update
and conducting annual inventory of capital assets. This role
participates in the surplus disposition program and provides
assistance related to warehouse operations and activities. This
position provides support to Courier Service and Logistics
functions as required.
**Minimum Training and Education:** High school diploma or
equivalent (GED) and three years demonstrated work experience in
performing recordkeeping, shipping/receiving, physical inventories
and quality control checks required. Must be computer literate and
have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and E-Mail systems
such as Outlook.
**Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:** A valid
South Carolina drivers license with 10 years "incident free"
driving record required.

weigh up to and in excess of 200lbs to various locations in the
hospital. (Frequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected.

outdoors under all weather and temperature conditions. (Infrequent)
Must possess good olfactory senses. (Continuous) Ability to
