Job DescriptionWarehouse Freight Checker, $14.25/hr. – First Shift – Charleston, SC (Upper Clements Ferry Area) Very clean/organized warehouse with a desirable shift! Hire-in potential! Workbox Staffing is hiring Warehouse Freight Checker in Charleston. For this position, you will be verifying each order for accuracy to ensure the correct item number, case pack and quantity are being shipped. You will also be responsible for labeling and recording the total cartons of each pallet on freight and back of pick ticket summary. Qualifications:

• Labels freight as per supervisor's instruction
• Reports any unusual or unsafe behavior to supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assists other checkers when assignment is complete
• Uses proper label placement for each consignee; contacts supervisor for label placement information Skills:
  • Knowledge of labeling procedures
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Strong level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
  • Strong attention to detail
