Job Summary: Perform accredited calibrations on a wide variety of dimensional, electronic, torque, pressure, and mechanical measuring test equipment. A2LA accredited. Duties/Responsibilities: Calibrate Gages setup and perform manual and automated calibration and testing process for a wide range of dimensional and/or electronic, torque, and pressure gages in line with company quality procedures and customer expectations. Calculate statistical information regarding uncertainties in calibration using an established formula. Update gage tracking software and generate certifications with gage calibration results. Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Update gage tracking software
  • Ability to calibrate a wide range of metrology equipment
  • Calculate statistical information regarding uncertainties in calibration using established process
  • Generate certifications with gage calibration results
  • Interact with internal and external customers to answer questions and calibration related information
  • General familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO/IEC17025 Quality Systems
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Good written and oral communication skills as well as computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team
  • Self-starter, proactive, productive, punctual
  • Eager to learn
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed Preferred Skills/Abilities:
    • Minimum two years related experience
    • Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) training Education and Experience:
      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • At least two years' related experience preferred
