The Beach Company is seeking to add an energetic, technically qualified, problem solving, Assistant Construction Manager. The scope of the Assistant Construction Manager position is to provide internal support to the Development division, as it relates to all construction aspects for multiple residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects. This role offers a broad range of services to ensure the projects are performed in a timely, compliant, and profitable manner. This position is designed to provide an additional level of quality control to the project's results.
Assistant Construction Manager Job Functions:

• 
  
• Coordinates with project QAQC planning to ensure quality standard is maintained.
  
• Visit project sites and complete site report to be submitted to Construction Manager and DOC.
  
• Assists with review and filing of 3rd party reports and project documents.
  
• Post project documents to document management system.
  
• Reviews potential change orders and reports to Construction Manager at the direction of the Construction Manager.
  
• Reviews and marks up design documents/specifications at direction of the Construction Manager.
  
• Assists in review of project schedules to ensure delivery expectations are maintained.
  
• Assists in review and distribution of project close out documents.
  
• Assists and participates in punch activities as directed by Construction Manager.
  
• Assists with response to warranty items.
  
• Manages retail coordination and build outs.
  
• Travel Required.
  Education and Experience
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or other related experience.
    
  • Two or more years of construction experience.
    
  • Experience with Blue Beam Review
    
  • Experience with Plangrid
    
  • Experience with Procore
