A career as a Maintenance Tech II entails maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property with your primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. This role will require various skills that include but are not limited to painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown, and popcorn ceilings.

  Schedule Details: Our Maintenance department operates between the hours of 7:00 am through 11:00 pm. We are currently hiring Day Shift, Evening Shift, and Variable Shift. You will be assigned a schedule on day one.
  
  
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning.
    
  • Maintains all guestroom and public space equipment and replaced caulk tile/grout door repair, including locking mechanisms and hinges.
    
  • Inspects rooms for pest intrusion and inspects and replaces cosmetic appliance components.
    
  • Replace light bulbs and ballasts, repair closet/drapery tracks, replace furniture-stained furniture, and repair knicks and gouges.
    
  • Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection sheets.
    
    
    
    
    Eligibility: All U.S. hourly Team Members not represented by a labor organization or subject to collective bargaining agreement.

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
      
    • 2 years experience in building and/or facilities, property maintenance
      
    • Ability to communicate with guests in English, follow basic written and verbal directions,
      
    • Physically able to work from ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, grasp -and stoop, and reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations
      
      
      
      
      It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
      
      
      • 
        
      • 3 yrs plus demonstrated ability in Resort/ Hotel maintenance
        
      • Current State's driver's license
