Job Description Description SAIC is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support the US Navy's Computer Defense Network project in No. Charleston, SC. * Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Host Base Security System (HBSS/McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS/Tenable Nessus) for Navy Computer Network Defense (CND) classified and unclassified systems. * Tasking includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, metrics collection, maintenance support, and the timely entry of communication and tasking into the ticket management tool (ITSM). * Configure, deploy, and maintain VMWare ESXi Server 4.1 and Microsoft Hypervisor. * Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2019, RHEL 7 and RHEL 8. * Redline current technical process and procedure documentation. * Deploy Cyber Security mandated system upgrades, patches, and perform modifications to ensure systems are protected against known exploits. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: * Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Required skills: * Cyber security systems administration experience. * Experience with Windows Server Administration, VMWare infrastructure, Linux/RedHat. * HBSS and ACAS experience. * Experience using Windows to include all activities such as active directory, installation, system integration, image development, patching, upgrades, complex problem resolution and other activities in large, complex environment. * Experience utilizing DISA STIGs to harden Windows and Linux systems to secure networks and security devices. * Networking experience with knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals and network security best practices. * Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment Required clearance: * Active Secret Clearance and have eligibility for a Top Secret Clearance. Higher clearances accepted. Required Certifications/Training: * Baseline Certification Requirement: Personnel performing Cyber functions require one of the Baseline Certifications from category IAT Level II (CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, SSCP). Higher level IAT Level III certifications (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP) satisfy lower level requirements. Refer to 8570.01 M for further implementation guidance. Baseline certification required upon hire date. * OS Training Requirement: Members of the IAT workforce must complete OS Training in the Operating Systems/Technologies/Environments that they will need Privileged Access to (example Windows, Linux, VMWare, Cisco, Active Directory, HBSS, ACAS, SPLUNK, Server+, or similar). Training must be completed within 6 months of hire. Desired Experience: * Experience in testing, maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting HBSS (also known as McAfee ePolicy ePO) and/or ACAS (also known as Tenable Nessus) systems in a DoD environment. * Experience testing, integrating, and supporting secure virtual hosting environments, including hosting environment hardware, back-end storage solutions, virtualization management and virtual networking.
