Job Overview: Plumbing Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential homes. This includes repairing all types or models in water lines, sewers, drains, toilets, showers, and tubing. The technician may often be required to replace old fixtures with new ones and perform other duties, including cleaning sinks, faucets, filters, valves, pumps, gaskets, tankers, and tanks.

    Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance on residential properties.
      
    • Inspect previously installed plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs to previously installed systems.
      
    • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations concerning water treatment systems and keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains.
      
    • Communicate well with customers and co-workers.
      
    • Keep detailed reports of work done at job sites.
      
      Qualifications:
      
      • 
        
      • A high school diploma or GED.
        
      • 3 or more years of trade experience as a plumber or plumber's apprentice.
        
      • Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs.
        
      • Excellent time management skills, communication, and people skills while interacting with customers and co-workers.
        
        Compensation:
        
        • 
          
        • $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
          
        • Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus ($1,000 is provided in the 1st paycheck, $1,000 is provided in the 90-day paycheck, and the remaining $1,000 is provided in the 1-year paycheck)
