Position Description This job description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job. Scheduling and dispatching Landmark drivers, vehicles, and/or equipment to appropriate locations according to schedules or immediate needsAccepting trucking requests and producing schedules according to job needsRelaying information such as schedules, work orders, or other messages to and from drivers, foremen and superintendentsConversing with managers, foremen and superintendents to resolve problems related to requests or dispatchesHandling communication with hauling collaborators, including but not limited to requests, complaints, status changes, schedules, services and other informationDaily verification and reconciliation of all dispatched trucks between actual versus what is in the systemPublish finalized and approved daily schedulesEnsure dispatch software data is up to date and correct for, but not limited to pricing, UOM, locations, and other data pointsDaily review and report on missing tickets to managementResolve missing tickets within 48 hoursReview, correct, approve and export documented error tickets within 48 hoursOversee and ensure that level 1 export-import tickets are completed and correctPublish daily reports on trucks requested versus actual trucks received for managementPrepare trucking analysis from previous week to evaluate production/issuesAssist with level 1 ticket review as directedReview, reconcile and approve invoices as assignedHandle compliance for haulersPM22 Position Requirements Computer skills: You should be proficient with computer technology and have the ability to learn company-specific programs and access GPS monitoring programsAnalytical thinking: This can help you assess situations like unanticipated road closures.
