Position:Maintenance Technician (Residential) Location: North Charleston, SC Experience:At least five years of prior experience as a maintenance tech; Prior experience in a residential or apartment setting strongly preferred; Prior carpentry and painting experience a plus Education:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Certification in HVAC, electrical, and major appliance repair Type:Full-time Schedule:9am-6pm Pay:$25/hr HireOne Staffingis seeking aMaintenance Technician (Residential)to join our growing and dynamic team! Job Description: Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standardsPerform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessaryMaintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when neededPerform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticideConduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed Position Requirements: Must have a Valid Driver's License and reliable transportationMust be able to pass a background checkProven experience as maintenance technicianBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime HireOne Staffingdoes not just connect you with a job; we offer a Professional Mentoring & Education Program to help you be great at your job, love it, and grow.
