MUSC has an AANEM accredited Lab with world class technology (and attending physicians). As MUSC's neuroscience program continues to expand, we are looking for strong dedicated people to join our team with a passion to deliver the best possible healthcare for our patients. Our Clinical Neurophysiology Lab proudly comprises five accredited labs including an EMG team, IOM team, Outpatient EEG team, Inpatient EEG team, and Neurovascular team. In fact, we are one of the most accredited neurophysiology labs in the United States. Our technologists are among the most-qualified and talented available across the entire country. The Clinical Neurophysiology Department has built many opportunities for advancement within the department, as well as endless opportunities for continuing education in our academic environment. This is on top of the many opportunities for growth within the expansive MUSC Health system. We are not just changing lives; we are changing what's possible in health care.Additional Job DescriptionMinimum Training and Education: -Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or two years experience in Electroneurodiagnostic technology and eligible for National Board Certification; or any combination of education and experience that warrants eligibility for National Board Certification. Considerable knowledge of procedures, techniques, and equipment used in EMG examinations. Knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology.Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.If you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!The Medical University of South Carolina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
